bak kut teh

Last Saturday (June 13), me, Pats, and some of our colleagues had a sumptuous lunch at a Bak Kut Teh Restaurant at Klang, near Diko Beng Ghee’s place. Diko and I were longing for some comfort food after several stressful weeks in the office. And since Pats and I liked the Bak Kut Teh there when we had the first round (way back in Feb), I encouraged Diko for a second round.

Pics during our BKT lunch

We had the same order as before, Dry Bak Kut Teh and the one with the soup and, of course, plenty of rice. And just like before, no left-overs. ^^v After lunch though, Pats and I felt really uber sleepy. I think my BP went from normal to 140/90. My eyes were shutting uncontrollably and I was yawning so much that it seems like I lost all the carbon dioxide in my body. Darn! I tried so hard not to fall asleep when we were hanging out at Diko’s house. I might have not woken up if I did. :S

Nevertheless, Bak Kut Teh…I like and I’m looking forward for the next round. ^__^
